great blue heron ;) these birds are sick when they're in the air - they have 5-6 foot wingspans

blue heron, egret, crane, im not sure what... i did get too close and it flew farther away so i do have pictures of this thing in the air, its huge!

Based upon my time spent in the wetland, I'd call it an egret.

I say that based upon the fact that the bird guy I worked with called everything but the red-winged black bird an egret. So it probably really is a great blue herring.

there also appears to be a male and female mallard duck. They seem kinda blurry though....you should focus better phil ;)
